On August the 1st 1987, an exciting new music programme called MTV was launched in the UK. The opening song/video on that day was Money For Nothing by Dire Straits with it's legendary drum roll/intro by Swansea born & bred Terry Williams. Here is a video of Martin, Jock, the late Robert Ayres, and myself playing that very same song in Raffles Nightclub, (the Troob, Port Talbot) in August 1986, 1 year before it's launch.
