PRESS RELEASE Farmington, NM- The Farmington Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred on February 26, 2025. At approximately 7:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Auburn Avenue in response to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Patricia Madrid (36), who had been shot at a residence. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene.
