The SeaGlass Carousel in Battery Park, New York City, is a magical public artwork born of art, architecture, and aquatic whimsy. Designed by WXY Architecture Urban Design, the carousel sits in a spiraling pavilion inspired by the chambered nautilus. Riders sit in one of 30 giant fish shaped gondolas, illuminated from within by color changing LEDs.
