A few minor earthquakes have occurred in the New Madrid Seismic Zone within the last week. The most recent was a 2.3 magnitude 1.4 miles east of Caruthersville, MO. Three days ago a 2.1 magnitude struck Lilbourn, MO, and six days ago a 2.2 magnitude struck Blytheville, AR.
