The Loch Arkaig osprey cam is now live! Our resident pair Louis and Aila are expected to return any time from the beginning of April. We expect other birds to drop in and check out the nest too, and perhaps even the occasional night-time visitor. The ospreys at Loch Arkaig have now headed off to Africa for the winter. They’ll be back in April we hope. The birds have failed to breed in the last two years but they bred successfully in 2014 so we have our fingers crossed for 2017! We are already half way to our 4.5million target to buy and restore Loch Arkaig Forest.
