Taeil, a former member of K-pop boy group NCT, was slapped with a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence on Thursday following his conviction for sexually assaulting an intoxicated Chinese woman in Seoul.

Former member of the SM Entertainment boy band NCT, Taeil, has been sentenced to 3.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to quasi-rape.

The singer pleaded guilty to a special quasi-rape charge, which applies when two or more people jointly engage in sexual acts with a victim who is unconscious.
