With Andrew Cuomo planning to run as an independent, Eric Adams did not mince words about the former governor’s intentions.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is privately urging him to drop out of November’s mayoral election, as their moderate wing of the party scrambles to find a way to maximize their chances of beating Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani.

The mayor hit the ritzy East End enclave to appear at a Saturday fundraiser, and was also at a breakfast at 75 Main, where Cuomo had dined the night before.
