Alvaro Carreras has completed his move from Benfica to Real Madrid and Manchester United are set to cash in as a result. The 22-year-old will be unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Tuesday afternoon, returning to the club after spending three years in the youth set-up with the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid reached a deal to sign Álvaro Carreras from Benfica on Monday, bringing back the young left back who came through the Spanish club's youth squads. Madrid said the 22-year-old Carreras is arriving on a six-year contract.
