Crews in Douglas County continued battling the Airport Fire on Monday, which has burned 130 acres and is 90% contained.

Douglas County fire crews efficiently contained a wildfire near Highway 85 using a helicopter to drop 26,400 gallons of water.

The firenadoes that formed during the brush fire on Sunday near Louviers were unusual, said 9NEWS Weather Impact Team meteorologist Chris Bianchi.
