Towns across New Jersey are cleaning up damage from floods on Monday. in Bridgewater Township, homes were damaged, cars were flooded and roads were closed. Mayor Matthew Moench joins FOX Weather to give an update on recovery efforts.

The funding would have helped reduce flooding in Lewes, Delaware, and Philly neighborhoods, as well as strengthened a dam in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Dowling's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Roselle Park, New Jersey, was flooded this week. Owner Russell Olden spoke about how, despite 5-6 inches of floodwater pouring into the restaurant, he and his team were able to reopen the restaurant the day after the flood event.

Footage shows wooden slats from the home on the ground with other debris. The blast took place around the same time heavy rainfall hit the northeast.
