According to Goal Brazil, United have now made a move to sign competition for Onana as they have told Botafogo that they are willing to trigger the R$44.5 million (£6m) release clause in John Victor’s contract.

Manchester United has been dealt a major injury blow to Andre Onana ahead of the 2025/26 season, with fans sharing mixed emotions. He will miss six to eight weeks.
