L iverpool legend John Aldridge was left fighting back tears as he paid a touching tribute to Diogo Jota in an emotional interview on LFCTV. Jota was killed in a car crash, along with his brother, Andre Silva, last Thursday (July 3) after their vehicle veered off the road following a tyre blowout.

Liverpool have announced that the Diogo Jota book of condolence will be available to sign for another 48 hours for any fans wishing to pay their respects. The Reds remain in mourning for the loss of their number 20 and his brother Andre Silva, who were killed in a car crash in Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Opposite the famous ‘ Liverpool Memorial’ - dedicated to those 97 fans who lost their lives At Hillsborough on 15th April 1989 - on a small stretch of grass on the Anfield Main Stand concourse known as ‘97 Avenue’ dozens of black buckets were laid out to hold fans flowers.
