Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson said that she believes recent rulings by the Supreme Court’s conservative majority pose an “existential threat to the rule of law.”

Jackson did not say what, specifically, concerned her about the state of democracy, though she has recently written a series of scathing dissents.

In solo dissents this term, the justice accused the conservative majority of lawless bias. On the term’s last day, Justice Amy Coney Barrett fired back.
