Warriors rumors are swirling that Golden State is on the verge of landing a five-time All-Star to pair with Steph Curry and Draymond Green.
While the reporter noted that Horford has another kid on the way, the distance from his family won’t affect his final free agency decision. But Spears then speculated that Horford’s 10-year-old son could be the difference-maker in where the big man ends up because the kid travels with his dad a lot.
I don’t think the hold up on Al Horford is him deciding whether he wants to retire or not. My read is that GSW has a handshake agreement with him in place, but it could be slightly edited depending on how much extra money they have to play with based on the Kuminga outcome.
