Wildfires burning at or near the Grand Canyon's North Rim are still raging as strong winds, high heat and low humidity persist.
Nearly 400 firefighters are working around the clock on the Dragon Bravo Fire burning on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, Tuesday.
The White Sage Fire was burning in Arizona bout 15 miles southeast of Fredonia in Coconino County and north of the Grand Canyon State Park.
Highway closures and evacuations remain in effect as a wildfire burns more than 51,000 acres in far northern Coconino County. It is one of two blazes raging at or near the northern rim of the Grand Canyon.
