Twenty cities and municipalities in Luzon have declared a state of calamity in the aftermath of tropical cyclones Nika, Ofel, and Pepito, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Tuesday.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said that the damage to infrastructure and agriculture sustained by the country due to the trio of storms had reached a combined value of P478 million.
