On Day 1, the Orioles had a diverse group of Draft picks featuring five position players and two pitchers (though all but one came from the college ranks). On Day 2, the club continued to restock its farm system with a wide-ranging mix of prospects.

Day 2 of the MLB Draft involved rounds four through 20. Pitcher Riley Kelly from Tustin High and UC Irvine went to the Rockies with the 107th overall pick.

It was no surprise that Bodine would be taken early in the 2025 MLB Draft, and on July 13, his dreams came true. Bodine was selected in the first round, compensation (30th overall) by the Baltimore Orioles, making him the first catcher taken off the board this year.
