Another little-known denizen of the Man of Steel’s vast universe is making his silver screen debut in director James Gunn's " Superman " blockbuster. His name? Metamorpho, a heroic shape-shifting misfit, AKA the Element Man or the Fab Freak of 1001 Changes.

“In some ways, it’s lighter. But there’s a lot of heavy stuff in the movie as well,” explained Gunn, following Zack Snyder ‘s grittier take on the role in Man of Steel (2013), Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017). “But the character himself is lighter.”

Superman is the most powerful superhero in DC Comics, able to go toe to toe with its most powerful villains, like Darkseid and Brainiac. That’s why it’s surprising that his nemesis is Lex Luthor, a man without any superpowers.
