A new report has revealed that Los Angeles is still among the teams interested in signing Horford. Marc J. Spears, a longtime NBA insider, has reported that the Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors are still working to sign Horford.
Al Horford is set to enter his 19th season in the NBA next season. For the last four seasons, he has been playing for the Boston Celtics, where he has achieved great success, including winning the NBA Championship in 2024, the first of his career. Last season with the Celtics, Horford averaged 9.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly still among the teams in the mix to land 39-year-old free agent forward Al Horford.
Golden State has stood pat two weeks into free agency and is the only team to have not made a single move so far.
The Warriors have been viewed as the overwhelming favorite to sign Horford if he keeps playing. However, a new report from Marc Spears of ESPN.com listed a couple of new Eastern Conference teams
