At least three people were killed and 19 others were wounded in weekend shootings across Chicago, according to police. The ages of the victims range from 17 to 53. In the first shooting of the weekend, a 36-year-old man was near the street around 6:48 in the 700 block of South Springfield Avenue when he was shot multiple times in the body.

Chicago police late Sunday were looking for the suspects behind an armed robbery in the East Lakeview neighborhood in which a woman was shot and wounded. Police said the woman was shot after the suspects struggled to get away with her personal belongings.
