The 19-year-old poured in a game-high 28 points on 13 of 27 shooting, hauled in 10 rebounds, dished out four assists, made two blocks and had just two turnovers. SB Nation on MSNThe VJ Edgecombe injury situation has killed any positive feelings about Sixers Summer LeagueWe had a brief taste of it against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City, when the Sixers lost in the final minute, but Edgecombe balled out with 28 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal, and also showed off some trash-talking chops. For a day or so, everything was golden and Summer League vibes were super high.
The 76ers suffered a 41-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs in their Las Vegas Summer League debut without Edgecombe.
