Rutgers can start booking its tickets to Indianapolis. The Scarlet Knights practically punched their tickets to the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday, when they defeated USC, 95-85, in Piscataway. They led for the final 22 minutes of a mostly-comfortable victory — a rarity in what has been a calamity of a campaign.

Rutgers basketball hasn't locked up a spot in the Big Ten Tournament, but beating USC put it in a good spot to hope for a miracle run.

Rutgers beats USC to win their second game in a row 95-85, behind what could easily be their most complete performance of the season. Everything seemed to go right for Rutgers on the offensive side. Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey combined for 39 points with Lathan Sommerville tacking on 10.

Jonas Williams has flipped from Oregon to USC. The four-star quarterback from Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln Way East committed to Oregon last August over LSU, Alabama and Ohio State. The Trojans were not really in the picture at that point.
