More than 130 people are dead after devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country that began early on the Fourth of July.

Emergency crews suspended their search for victims of catastrophic flooding in central Texas on Sunday morning amid new warnings that additional rain would again cause waterways to surge.

"Protecting lives is our highest priority," police said.

New Jersey was hit once again with heavy rain, flooding, power outages and road closures on Monday, July 14.

As of 7 p.m., there were over 8,000 power outages statewide as the storms roll through New Jersey.
