Shemar Stewart's contract holdout with the Cincinnati Bengals is proving things are changing in the NFL faster than teams can keep up.

The Cincinnati Bengals have not yet resolved rookie Shemar Stewart's contract situation. Amid this uncertainty, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported that the team has signed second-round pick Demetrius Knight Jr. to a four-year rookie deal that pays him 80% as fully guaranteed money.

Shemar Stewart is unhappy with the Cincinnati Bengals’ front office. And he might very well be justified in feeling that way. Previously, it was reported that Stewart didn’t like that his contract included a new clause that would void all future guarantees if he defaults in a season.
