The chase started in Roseville and ended with the crash at 11 Mile and Van Dyke. The victim, Alex Habib, was driving for Uber when he was killed.
Police have explained why they were chasing a teenager who eventually ran a red light and crashed into an Oakland County father, who died from his injuries.
Defense attorney Arthur Weiss suggested that “hindsight” should not be used in judging the officers and that it’s easier for a prosecutor to second guess the officers nearly 1-½ years later than
