"Love Island USA" star Cierra Ortega is speaking out after her exit from the show earlier this week amid allegations of racism. The reality star faced backlash from "Love Island" fans over resurfaced past posts on a social media account belonging to her that allegedly used a derogatory term against the Asian community.
Contestants Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega were removed from 'Love Island USA' for past use of racial slurs.
"I want to first start by addressing not just anyone that I have hurt or deeply offended, but most importantly, the entire Asian community. I am deeply, truly, honestly, so sorry," she said in a lengthy video.
Nic and Olandria and Taylor and Casa Amor bombshell Clarke Carraway, with whom he had just closed things off, were the bottom two couples in the July 8 episode of Love Island USA, and Taylor and Clarke were ultimately sent packing from the Fiji villa.
