The National Weather Service issued an updated flood warning at 5:59 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 7:15 a.m. for Middlesex and Somerset counties.

Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches and isolated amounts of 3-5 inches are possible, the National Weather Service said.
