As Avelo disbands West Coast operations, new budget airline steps in to take its place
Just days after Avelo Airlines announced it would be closing its base at the Hollywood Burbank Airport and ceasing operations on the West Coast, another budget airline announced it will take over many of Avelo’s abandoned routes.
SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — Avelo Airlines announced it will close its base at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) by the end of 2025.
