Classic rocker Steve Miller has canceled his U.S. tour because he said severe weather including extreme heat and unpredictable flooding poses a danger to his band, its fans and crew.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers had 31 dates, most at outdoor venues, scheduled this year, starting with an Aug. 15 show in Bethel Woods, N.Y.

The Steve Miller Band has pulled the plug on its entire tour, including date at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga.
