Russia launched 550 drones and missiles across Ukraine overnight in the largest aerial assault since the war began

One person died and 26 were injured in record Russian airstrikes throughout Ukraine's capital Kyiv on Friday, one day after U.S. President Donald Trump said he was "disappointed" that Russian President Vladimir Putin wasn't ready to end the three-year war.

It was the latest in a series of almost weekly large-scale missile and drone attacks. President Trump said he “didn’t make any progress” with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia.
