Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner and an organizational contingent that included general manager Brian Cashman and manager Aaron Boone met with free-agent outfielder Juan Soto on Monday afternoon in an attempt to woo him back into the fold for the foreseeable future.

The Phillies are believed to have interest in Soto with a report that a mystery team has spoken to the free agent star.

Bryce Harper and Trea Turner are two of those stars, and it is fair to assume that Harper and Turner have perhaps exchanged a few texts and calls with their former Nationals teammate Soto about a reunion in Philadelphia.
