Sakamoto Days is directed Japanese animation filmmaker Masaki Watanabe, of the series "Bâtendâ" and "KADO: The Right Answer", plus all of the "Battle Spirits" series and movies.

Masaki Watanabe will be directing the new anime for TMS Entertainment with Taku Kishimoto overseeing the scripts, and Yo Moriyama providing the character designs.

Sakamoto Days is directed Japanese animation filmmaker Masaki Watanabe, of the series "Bâtendâ" and "KADO: The Right Answer", plus all of the "Battle Spirits" series and movies.

Masaki Watanabe is at the helm as director, and Netflix is currently slated as the only place you can catch the highly anticipated anime series, which is expected to drop sometime in January of 2025.

“When I first had the chance to read Sakamoto Days, I remember how electrifying the powerful action scenes were,” director Masaki Watanabe said in a Netflix promotional interview.
