The PCB remains hell-bent on hosting the entire ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan despite BCCI's refusal to send the Indian team across the border.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule, but due to the ongoing tensions between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), ICC has not yet unveiled the tournament's official timetable. However, recent reports indicate that the schedule may be released soon.

According to details, the trophy was showcased near the GPO. The tourists and locals had also shown keen interest during the exhibition of the prestigious tournament’s trophy.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has conveyed its position to the ICC, leaving the PCB seeking an explanation for India’s stance.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board are engaging in back-channel talks with the venue for the 2025 Champions Trophy (CT) still uncertain.India has made it clear that they will not travel to Pakistan to play the mega event.

However, as per a report in India Today, the back channel talks are underway and ICC is doing its best to convince PCB to accept the hybrid model, which will see India play their matches at a neutral venue.
