Star captain Alexander Ovechkin was listed as week-to-week with a lower leg injury, per the team Tuesday. The update added he will be evaluated by team doctors on Wednesday. Ovechkin collided with the Utah Hockey Club's Jack McBain during Washington's 6-2 victory on Monday night.

In the third period, Ovechkin was skating when he collided with Jack McBain in an apparent knee-on-knee collision. He needed help getting up, and ultimately went down the tunnel and did not return.
