My laptop has a euro sign on the '5-key'. However, when I press Ctrl + Alt + 5 no euro symbol is inserted. What could be the cause of this? OS: Windows 7. Region setting: Dutch Keyboard layout: US
My keyboard only have $. Each time I want to type Euro symbol what I do is copy paste from libreoffice Euro symbol. it is fine when writing in libreoffice, but the problem is when writing in simple word processor (like vim, atom, etc) or in the browser, it is time consuming.
Keyboard is normal US standard keyboard. Now that I am working for a UK based client, I need to use pound sign quite often. Currently I am copy pasting it, and it is a bit annoying. If it is possible to type pound sign using US keyboard, then that will be great. Please post any method you know other than copy pasting.
